Chapter Four

               

Hankyung on the floor as he filed the files for Head of Affairs, which he found out from Donghae was some guy named Kim Kibum. Donghae often came in and made him seat on the couch but the couch was far too uncomfortable for him to sit in.

                “Siwon, Yunho is here to see you,” Donghae’s voice came through the phone. Siwon thanked him, and a small smile came to his face but it quickly disappears as fast as it came.

                “Hankyung get up and straighten your clothes and those files,” Siwon quickly ordered as he went over and helped Hankyung fix the mess on the table. Hankyung wanted to protest, he had finally had it where he could file everything faster, and Siwon was just messing it up. Hankyung mentally sighed and straighten out his clothes, just as he stood up correctly, the doors opened and walked in a tall man, looking about the same age as Siwon.

                “Siwon,” the man smiled and hugged him.

                “Yunho, it’s been so long, how are you?” Siwon shook Yunho’s hand.

                “I’m been fine,” Yunho turned his attention to Hankyung. “And who is this,” Yunho smiled at Hankyung.

                “That’s my new personal assistant, Hankyung, and house keeper if you say so,” Siwon introduced the two to each other.

                “It’s very—Umm… It’s very nice to meet you,” Hankyung bowed to Yunho, red of embarrassment.

                Yunho smiled, “and I’m sure you know I’m Jung Yunho, co-CEO of the J&K corporations.” Hankyung’s head shot up and looked at Yunho with a gapped look on his face. Yunho laughed, “You okay there?” 

                “I’m… sorry,” Hankyung bowed.

                “That’s fine, if you could leave us,” Yunho asked kindly. Hankyung nodded and quickly left the room. Outside he was met with Donghae and Eunhyuk.

                “So what happened in there?” Donghae and Eunhyuk quickly surrounded Hankyung.

                “What? What are you talking about?” Hankyung looked at them with a confused look on his face as he backed up against the door.

                “The man that just walked into there is Siwon’s older step brother, co-CEO of J&K corporations. There’s been a rumor going around that he’s marrying the other co-CEO, Kim JaeJoong. So what happened in there?” Donghae spoke quickly.

                “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Hankyung panicked and a string of Chinese came out.

                Donghae looked at Hankyung, the eager that marked his face thirty seconds ago, now gone. “Oh, Hankyung I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you.” Donghae hugged Hankyung, and motioned Eunhyuk to do the same. “There, there, I’m sorry,” Donghae rubbed his back and sat him down in a chair.

                “I’m okay,” Hankyung’s voice barely above a whisper as he spoke to Donghae and Eunhyuk. Donghae smiled, and nodded. At the same time, Yunho and Siwon stepped out of the office.

                “I must say though, Siwon, I would bring Hankyung. So he can see to look forward to in the future,” Yunho smiled at Hankyung, nodding at Siwon, Donghae, and Eunhyuk before leaving.

                Siwon looked at Hankyung, and turned back into the office. “Finish up the papers, and then you can go home.”

                Hankyung looked at Donghae and Eunhyuk before heading back into the room. Donghae looked at Eunhyuk, “Do you think that was—“

                “Yeah, I think you scared him good,” Eunhyuk patted his shoulders. “I got to meet, the CEO of JUMIN.”

                Donghae laughed, “Going off to see Junsu again?”

                “Of course, he is my boyfriend after all,” Eunhyuk laughed as he left Donghae to himself again. As he left, Kibum, the Head of Affairs stepped off the elevator.

                “Where are those files?” he asked Donghae as he rubbed his eyes.

                “Hankyung is sorting them right now,” Donghae smiled and lend over the desk to kiss his lover. “Sleepy?”

                “Just a bit, Yesung, was a bit lazy yesterday, and made me check over his papers. For someone older than me—”, Kibum mumbled on Donghae’s lips as he pressed closer.

                Donghae nodded and pulled back, “I’m sure—“

                “Here are the files to,” Hankyung looked down at the file. “Kim… Ki…bum?” Hankyung looked up at Donghae and he noticed the other man that was standing there.

                “I’m Kim Kibum,” Kibum smiled at Hankyung.

                “Oh, here are the files, I filed everything by date, time, and alphabetically so, I hope it helps,” Hankyung smiled as he handed the files to Kibum. “I do believe that most recent date is April 23.”

                Kibum and Donghae looked at Hankyung, “but you just got those files today.”

                “That doesn’t matter,” Hankyung smiled. “I checked it over twice to make sure I didn’t make any mistakes.”

                “Wow, thank you,” Kibum kissed Donghae before heading to the elevator. After Kibum left, Hankyung turned back to Siwon’s office to get his things.

                “Hankyung, I’m sorry about earlier,” Donghae stopped Hankyung.

                Hankyung turned and smiled at Donghae, “Don’t worry Donghae. It’s okay.” Hankyung opened the door to Siwon’s office and disappeared inside. He however came back minutes later with his bag, which held his cell phone, his glasses, and some papers, and his coat.

                “You’re leaving?” Donghae looked up from his work.

                “Yup, he told me to tell you to call his driver or something,” Hankyung rubbed the back of his head.

                Donghae laughed and picked up the phone and spoke a string of Korean that Hankyung couldn’t catch. He nodded and hung up the phone. “The driver will be here in about five minutes. He said he would call when he got here.”

                “Okay,” Hankyung walked over to one of the chairs and looked at the many pictures that hung on the walls. Soon a lady came out of the elevator, she wore a red dress, short on her, with tall red heels.

                “I’m here to see, Siwon,” she walked up to Donghae’s desk, putting her purse on the desk and pulling out her mirror.

                “For the fiftieth, Ms. Lee Euiyun, he doesn’t want you in there,” Donghae didn’t even look up.

                “I’m going in then,” she picked up her purse and walked towards the door.

                “The doors are locked,” Donghae switched on a switch and Hankyung heard the doors lock. He then turned to the phone, which was blinking. He smiled at Hankyung, “the driver is here for you Hankyung. Get some rest before doing anything; he’ll make sure he gets home for dinner.”

                “Thank you, Donghae,” Hankyung smiled and bowed to him, before stepping onto the elevator.

                “Who is he,” Euiyun turned to Donghae.

                Donghae looked at her, before smiling, “I don’t work for you, so I don’t have to answer you.” Soon later, Siwon came out of his office, and looked at Donghae and Euiyun.

                “What do you want now?” He rubbed his temples and gestured Donghae to get him something to eat and coffee. Donghae stuck out his tongue at Siwon before picking up the phone.

                “What do you want?” Donghae looked at his restaurant contacts.

                “Something good, and spicy,” he looked around, “Where’s Hankyung?”

                “You said he could go home,” Donghae looked up for a brief second, before going back to ordering for Siwon.

                “Who is this Hankyung,” Euiyun demanded from Siwon.

                “He’s a worker of mine,” Siwon turned to Donghae, who had just hung up the phone. “Can you get Ms. Euiyun father on the line?”

                “He’s on his annual vacation with his wife sir,” Donghae informed Siwon with a frown on his face.

                “Get her brother then, Sungmin, his name was,” Siwon walked back into his office, unaware that Euiyun had followed him in.

                Donghae rolled his eyes, and called Sungmin, “Hyung~ your sister is here again, and Siwon has a growing headache—“, Donghae stopped speaking as he heard something crash in Siwon’s room, “I think she just broke something. Not funny, don’t laugh at me.” Donghae pouted and a light on the phone blinked. “Anyways, come quick, I got another call. Okay bye.” Donghae pressed the button, “Hello, Choi Empire, Donghae speaking. Oh, Hankyung, what no food? Then go get some, silly. Ahh… umm, hold on, I’ll ask him.” Donghae puts Hankyung on hold and pages Siwon.

                “What?” Siwon’s voice filled with impatience.

                “Hankyung says there’s no food, and he doesn’t have money to get any,” Donghae pouts at Siwon’s tone.

                Siwon sighs, “Get him my credit card number. I trust you won’t copy and use it yourself.”

                Donghae gasps, “I’m offended.” He smiled, “Which one?”

                “Any of them—“

                “You give your credit card number to your assistant but not your me?!” Euiyun screams in outrage, as she listened onto the conversation. Donghae quickly goes back to Hankyung’s line.

                “Hankyung, Siwon told me to give you his credit card number, its 5784-4594-7563-1,” Donghae read off the numbers.

                “Okay and where’s the nearest market?” Hankyung sheepishly asked.

                “Just have the driver take you,” Donghae explained.

                “But—“

                “Not buts, mister, I’m hanging out,” Donghae hung up and smiled. Soon later, Sungmin came through the elevator.

                “Where is she?” Sungmin rubbed his temples and pulled on his pink tie.

                “In there, where else would she be, Hyung?” Donghae pointed at Siwon’s door.

                “Shopping, like she said she was going,” Sungmin leaned against the desk. Donghae laughed, “Don’t laugh at me.” Sungmin snapped, “Was Yunho here?”

                “It was pay back and yeah, why?” Donghae looks at Sungmin curiously.

                “He invited me to his wedding/meeting thing,” Sungmin massaged his temples, preparing himself for what was going to happen. “Okay, here we go,” Sungmin opened the doors to Siwon’s office and frowned.  “What the hell did you do?” Sungmin was enraged.

                “What, what happened?” Donghae shot up and ran into Siwon’s room which was total trashed. “What the hell!” Donghae looked at Euiyun then Siwon, who was rubbing his temples.

                “Get Hankyung, I want my room clean by tomorrow,” Siwon gets up and leaves.

                “But he’s cooking dinner and you haven’t made him a pass to get in yet,” Donghae stops Siwon.

                “Give him yours,” Siwon shrugged and reaches for his coffee that was delivered by Kibum.

                “What the hell happened here?” Kibum looked at Siwon and Donghae. He nods at Sungmin and realizes what happened.

                Donghae growls and pushes pass Kibum and walks back to his desk to call Hankyung. “Hello, Hankyung, yes, after you finish buying stuff can you come back to the office? Yes, Siwon asked for you. Yes, alright an hour. That should—“

                “I want you here as soon as possible,” Siwon spoke into the speaker form his office.

                Donghae jumped and glared at Siwon, “Yes, I’m sorry Hankyung. Alright then, I’ll see you soon.” And with that Donghae hung and sat down on his chair rubbing his temples.

                “You okay baby?” Kibum walks behind Donghae’s chair and massages Donghae’s shoulders. Donghae sighs into Kibum’s touch.

                “I don’t know,” Donghae mumbled. The office was soon heard with shouts coming from the Lee siblings.

                An hour later, Hankyung came into the office, sweating and run of air. “What… am... I… need—“

                “Aish, Hankyung, sit, sit,” Donghae got out of his chair and sat Hankyung down as he went to go get him water. “He wants to re-modal, or clean, his office. It was a bit trashed by Miss Lee Euiyun earlier.”

                “He wants me to do what?” Hankyung went over to Siwon’s office, which had broken pieces of glass, vases, flowers, water drenched the wooden floors. Hankyung turned to Donghae. “How am I supposed to do this in one day?”

                “I’ll help but that’s all I can do,” Donghae patted Hankyung’s shoulder.

                “You have got to be kidding me,” Hankyung mumble din Chinese. He turned to Donghae, “could you get me a mop and a broom and some gloves? I might as well get started now.” He opened the doors all the way, and moved his way around everything. He took note that Siwon had a kept picture of Yunho and another man, along with an elderly couple in the background. Hankyung smiled, and went back to fixing Siwon’s desk. Donghae came back minutes later with Kibum, who nodded at Hankyung.

                “I got them Hyung, do you need help?” Donghae watched Hankyung glide his way over the mess. The way his body moved to make sure his feet didn’t step on anything sharp.

                “What type of flowers he likes, and if you could get some nice vases for the office,” Hankyung looked around the office. “And if you could get the company logo enlarged and into a frame, along with a picture of his family.” Hankyung turned to Donghae and Kibum who looked at him with awe.

                “Hankyung, Siwon doesn’t talk to his family, aside from Yunho,” Donghae whispered.

                “Well, then, we can get something else in its place, you can think of something?” He turned and looked around the room again. “Ahh, and if you could get another coffee desk, along with another filing cabinet,” Hankyung listed off everything Siwon needed.

                “Sure,” Donghae nodded. He grabbed Kibum and told Hankyung that he would be back later. Hankyung smiled and turned to the mess ahead of him.

                “This is too much, I hope he got the dinner I fixed before I got here,” Hankyung sighed as he put on the gloves and got to the task at him. He fished all the small pieces and threw them into the trashcan, while he swept the bigger pieces. He then mopped the floor, making sure he didn’t slip. He moved around the room. He set to his task at hand; he began to rearrange certain things, making the room more conformable for clients that came in.

                Three hours later, Donghae and Kibum returned to a newly arranged office and Hankyung resting on the couch. “No way, he did all this in three hours,” Donghae walked around, and noticed how everything had a certain sparkly. “I don’t want to wake him.”

                “I’m awake,” Hankyung got up and stretched. “Did you get the vases and the flowers?” Donghae nodded and gestures some workers to pull in the vases. Hankyung looked at each vase, “Okay, I want this vase on that bookshelf; I want this one near the door, no, no not there, yes there. I want the two smallest ones two coffee tables.” Hankyung looked around, “did you get the company logo?”

                “We decide that Siwon looks at that too many times a day, so we didn’t get it,” Donghae explained. Hankyung simply nodded, and continued to direct people until it was done.

                “Thank you,” he bowed and began to arrange the flowers. “I should be done, soon. You guys can leave,” Hankyung smiled as Donghae and Kibum yawned.

                “Do you have keys into the house?” Donghae asked.

                “Yup, it was on your table, when I came out for a drink of water,” Hankyung smiled.

                “That’s odd, I didn’t leave keys,” Donghae ran his fingers through his hair.

                “Oh, well, it said my name, so they’re in my pocket now,” Hankyung smiled, as he finished everything up. “You wouldn’t mind taken me home would you?”

                “Nah,” Donghae smiled at Kibum. “I’ll call you later,” Donghae kissed him and Kibum left after saying good bye to Hankyung and Donghae.

                “Thank you,” Hankyung smiled and grabbed his bag, which was sitting in one of the chairs and followed Donghae to his car. The ride to Siwon’s house was quiet, Hankyung had fallen asleep and Donghae didn’t blame him, he had worked his ass off to get Siwon’s office ready for the next day. Donghae arrived at Siwon’s house, and had the guard carry him into the house. Donghae smiled and left Hankyung in the hands of the guard.

                Siwon came downstairs after Donghae had left and told the guard, “take him to his room.” Siwon looked at Hankyung and let out a small smile.
