Summary: Siwon is a cold hearted CEO. Hankyung a fresh and out of college, going for a job at Choi Empire. Will Hankyung be able to get passed Siwon's cold exterior, or will he fall out of the game?

Chapter Three
Hankyung silently followed Siwon, nervous, worried, and scared; all these emotions were running through his veins. Siwon stopped in front of the double doors; he looked back at Hankyung before opening them.
“Mr. Choi, so glad you could grace us with your presence,” Everyone that was sitting around the table stood up to greet him. Siwon ignored them and went to his seat in the front, Hankyung stayed where he was, not sure what to do.
“What are you doing standing there boy, you take the seat next to him,” and elderly man told Hankyung. Hankyung looked at him and nodded quickly before walking towards the seat.
“What are the sales so far?” Siwon asked as Hankyung pressed the record button on the recorder.
“The sales are rising about 5%, and falling, but not falling too much, just about 1%,” one of the many men announced, pointing at the chart with his red laser.
“How are the stock holders?” Siwon asked as he looked through the papers in front of him.
“The stock holders are pleased, with how everything is going,” Another man announced as he went through his papers. “However, we found out that our information is being leaked out to another company, we haven’t found out who it is yet, because there are so many workers here, but we’re about done with everyone’s background check. He doesn’t have a background through the workers office though,” he pointed to Hankyung, who looked up confused and not understand.
“He is new, I had his background checked by Donghae,” he reached for the phone and pressed a few numbers. “Donghae, yes, I need Hankyung’s file.” He hung up and everyone was silent as they waited for Donghae to come down with the files.
There was a knock on the door and Donghae came in with a file in his hands. “Here is the file you wanted.” Donghae handed it to Siwon and patted Hankyung’s shoulder, then walked out.
“Here is his background,” Siwon threw the file onto the table for the other men to look through it. He sat back and watched them tear apart the file like dogs. Hankyung looked at them scared and backed away from the table.

“We deal with foreigners,” Siwon simply answered.
“He was at the top of his class,” another shouted, praising Hankyung.
“We hire the best,” Siwon looked out the window.
“He danced,” another shouted in shock.
“It seems to be a hobby,” Siwon looked at Hankyung. “Since we are getting no where at this meeting, Donghae will send you all a copy of Hankyung’s background, and I want that rat caught,” Siwon told the men, with a cold look on his face. “Let’s go Hankyung,” Siwon walked out of the room, with Hankyung trailing behind him. Outside Donghae was waiting for Siwon and Hankyung.
“How was…it?” Donghae’s voice disappeared as he turned to look at Hankyung. “What happened?” Donghae demanded from Siwon.
“The old birds got old,” Siwon shrugged and went towards the elevator. Donghae wrapped his arm around Hankyung and walked him to the elevator, together all three rode the elevator to the top floor.
“Hankyung, are you okay?”
“It was scary, very scary, how do you work with them? They’re scary, I don’t want to do that anymore,” Hankyung mumbled in Chinese, forgetting where he was.
“Look what you did, you give him a shock,” Donghae snapped at Siwon, and then went back to caring for Hankyung.
“No more, no more, no more,” Hankyung repeated in Chinese, scared that he would have to go back into that room.
“What’s my schedule for tomorrow?" Siwon ignored Hankyung and Donghae.
“It’s on your desk,” Donghae stepped out of the elevator and sat Hankyung on a soft seat, before running to go get him some water or something cool to drink. Siwon looked at Hankyung before walking into his office, ignoring everything and went over the paper, and watching his company run.
Outside Donghae was slowly bringing Hankyung out of his shock, “Okay, Hankyung please tell me what happened?”
”They… asked for my…background. So Siwon asked… you to bring it—“, Hankyung was stopped by Donghae’s hand.
“In Korean,” Donghae smiled softly.
“They asked for my background. So Siwon asked you to bring it… he threw it onto the table… and everything became hell.” Hankyung looked at Donghae with widen eyes.
“Oh, Hyung, they’re always like that. It was like that when I first worked for Siwon, ‘Siwon this’ and ‘Siwon that’, trust me, and believe me when I say that those old men can do so much worst.” Donghae brushed Hankyung’s bangs out of his face. “Hungry, how about we get something to eat?”
“What… about Siwon?” Hankyung asked quietly. “Shouldn’t we ask him too?”
“Siwon wouldn’t mind, I don’t think,” Donghae smiled and went to go page him. “Siwon, I’m going to get lunch with Hankyung. Are you coming?”
“No,” a short answer and the line was cut off.
“There’s your answer,” Donghae smiled and grabbed his coat before heading towards the elevator with Hankyung. “What do you like to eat?”
“Anything is fine with me,” Hankyung answered quietly. Donghae frowned at this.
“How about some Chinese?” Donghae asked, hoping it would make Hankyung feel better.
“Okay,” Hankyung nodded, following Donghae as he got out of the elevator. Surprise to Hankyung, how the elevators moved so fast. Donghae and Hankyung reached Donghae’s car, where Donghae opened the door for him. Hankyung blushed and got into the car. Donghae quickly when over to his side, turning on the engine, and drove out of the parking garage, onto the busy roads of
“It may—“, Donghae turned to look at Hankyung, who was sleeping against the car window. He smiled and killed the engine, putting his keys into his pocket and walked over to Hankyung’s side. He slowly opened the door making sure that Hankyung didn’t fall, and then he shook Hankyung awake. “Hey, we’re here.”
Hankyung woke up and mumbled in Chinese, “I’m late; the boss is going to kill me.” He tried to unbuckle his seat beat but was having problems.
“Hankyung, Hankyung, its okay, we’re going to eat,” Donghae calmed Hankyung down, so that he wouldn’t hurt himself.
Hankyung looked at his surroundings, then back at Donghae, his face red of embarrassment. “Sorry,” Hankyung mumbled as he slowly unbuckled himself out of the seat.
Donghae stepped back, allowing Hankyung to step out of the car. He smiled, “That’s fine, Hankyung. I understand, I was like that too when I first started.” Hankyung looked at Donghae with a shocked face. “It’s true, now come on, we have to eat.” Hankyung followed Donghae after closing the car door. They walked into the small Chinese restaurant, and were taken to a table in the back.
“I’ll be your server for today, what would you like to drink?”
“Water for me,” Donghae smiled at the waiter before turning to Hankyung. “And you?”
“Water,” Hankyung looked up from the menu, before looking at it again.
“I’ll be right back with your drinks,” he turned and left.
“What are you getting Hankyung?” Donghae looked at Hankyung, whose face was buried in the menu.
“I don’t know, maybe rice, or something my mom makes,” Hankyung peeked from the top of the menu before ducking down again.
Donghae laughed, “Why are you hiding?”
“Nothing,” Hankyung answered, too quickly for Donghae.
“What’s wrong?” Donghae pulled the menu out of Hankyung’s hands. “If this is about work—“
“I don’t know if I’m fit for this job anymore. Siwon is strict and all, but I’m not used to being around such cold people before,” Hankyung played with his napkin. He nodded a thank you at the waiter as he brought their drinks.
“Are you ready to order?” he asked, however Donghae waved him away, telling him that he will call when they are ready.
“Is this what it’s about?” Donghae asked. Hankyung nodded slowly afraid of what Donghae will do to him. “Siwon is a great person, he wasn’t always like this you know, he was once a happy, church-every-Sunday type of guy made A’s; he basically did everything he could in school. He’s like this now because of a girl. Hankyung you must understand he fell hard and fast, he doesn’t want that again.” Donghae smiled, “Please try to understand before you jump to conclusions and quit.”
“But I’m scared,” Hankyung quickly fought back.
“I’m here for you, and I’m sure you’ll make great friends with the other employees,” Donghae smiled. “Are you ready to order now, sirs?” He waited the waiter over.
“Yes gentlemen?” the waiter pulled out his little booklet and waited.
“I’ll have the Four Delights of Kung Pao, easy on the peppers,” Donghae told the waiter and handed him his menu.
“I’ll have the Honey Walnut Shrimp, with extra peppers please,” Hankyung also handed the waiter his menu.
“I’ll be back with your orders soon,” he turned and went towards the kitchen.
“You like spicy things?” Donghae looked at Hankyung.
“I can’t be a true Korean if I didn’t,” Hankyung smiled. “Actually, I need something spicy in all the meals I eat, but breakfast.”
“Wow, better than me,” Donghae laughed. “So what brought you to Korean exactly?”
“Choi Empire had in open position, and I wanted to jump at it, being fresh out of college, I thought the company would easily hire me, and my teachers had recommended it to me.” Hankyung explained to Donghae, who listened to him intently.
“Do you miss you family, a lot?” Donghae asked.
“I miss my mom the most, she raised me to be who I am, and I love her dearly.” Hankyung nodded.
“Being with Choi Empires, vacations aren’t known to be taken,” Donghae spoke with caution. “But, if you ask Siwon about it, I’m sure he’ll let you go, after a bit of an argument,” Donghae joked.
“I’m sure, I can visit them, I won’t ask to often,” with that the food had arrived and both Donghae and Hankyung dug into their food. After lunch, Donghae paid for the meal, much to Hankyung’s dislike.
“You can pay next time,” Donghae patted his back and exited the restaurant. He pulled out his cell phone and looked at the time. “We’ve been gone for an hour, Siwon shouldn’t need that much.”
“How long are lunches usually?” Hankyung asked with a hint of wariness in his voice.
“Thirty minutes,” Donghae simply answered as he got into the car, signaling Hankyung to do the same. Hankyung got into the car and Donghae sped back towards work. Reached the building in twenty minutes, Hankyung had familiarized himself with a bit of the city’s layout. “Alright, to work we go,” Donghae laughed and walked into the building.
“Donghae, he’s looking for you, I think he called you,” a man walked up to him, and then started walking with him. “Who’s this?”
“Oh, Eunhyuk, this is Hankyung, Siwon’s new personal assistant, Hankyung this is Eunhyuk, my best friend and head of the visual department,” Donghae introduced them.
“Hello, Hankyung and welcome to Choi Empire,” Eunhyuk shook hands with him and smiled.
“Thank you,” Hankyung replied back. “I’ll go up first then,” Hankyung nodded to both men and walked towards the elevator. He got on and pressed the top number, and it led him to the very top floor where Siwon’s office was. He exited the elevator, ad went to knock on the door of his office. He heard people talking inside, but heard a ‘come in’ over the talking.
“You’re back; I need to you file this and send them to the Head of Affairs,” Siwon pointed at the files that were on the floor near his desk.
“Okay, when does he need them?” Hankyung asked as he grabbed the top files and went over to a coffee table and set them down.
